Lost Settlement of the Outer Banks is an experimental spoken word EP inspired by the disappearance of the English settlement on Roanoke Island. No one knows what happened to them or where they went, but the word "CROATOAN" was carved onto the fort's palisade.
The lyrics were generated creating anagrams: Greek phrases were selected from anagrams of "Roanoke" and then translated into English; Latin phrases were selected from anagrams of "Croatoan" and also translated into English. A random phrase was added, but we won't tell you which. Then we added improvised instrumentation. And everything has been solved.
